Potatoes

    Homemande fries (steak fries)

    4 Med potatoes
    1 lg cooking cake pan (use an old one)
    Foil
    Oil
    Seasoning

    Preheat oven 525 Take a lg cooking cake pan and line it with foil. Take 4 medium potatoes, wash the skins. Cut each one in half. Then slice each half the length ways into what ever thinkness you'd like. place into the cooking pan. Drizzle with cooking oil (or evoo). Sprinkle with your favorite seasoning. Cook 15-25 min. Depends how done you like them. Do Not Cover with foil.

  2. Creamed Potatoes & Peas

    from my mother in-law

    4-6 med potatoes
    1 16 oz pkg frozen peas
    2 tbs buttera
    2 tbs flour
    1/3 c water
    1 c milk
    salt & pepper

    * Peel potatoes & dice. Place in a micro dish. Add water & micro 5 min. Stir & micro another 5-7 min until potatoes are tender. Set aside

    *In a frying pan, add butter & melt. When melted add flour & whisk well. Then add milk & whisk again. When the milk starts to bubble, add the peas & potatoes. Add salt & pepper for seasoning. Keep stirring. Mixture will thicken. When peas are warm & tender, it's done.

  3. Home Made Hashbowns

    6-8 medium potatoes
    1 butter stick
    salt
    peper

    * Peel the potatoes, rinse, and fork like a baked potatoe

    * Place in microwave, put on baked potatoe setting or Microwave 4 min, turn & micro more until soft

    * While potatoes are in microwave, melt butter in frying pan

    * When potatoes are soft, take out & let cool

    * Take potatoe, cut in half, and then slice in long wedges

    * Place in butter, add salt & peper. Cook until they become a golden yellow color, or until golden brown.
